Scripture Text: Leviticus 16:22 & Isaiah 53:5
Our text first considers Moses as he gives detailed instructions to the Levites about the handling of the sin offering.
The Old Testament provided for the death of a goat for atonement for sins committed and a scapegoat to take away the reproach of sin, but Jesus became the universal sacrifice that both died and took away the reproach of sin at the same time.
